A lot of games allow you to kill almost all NPCs, but rarely any essential ones required to progress in the story.  This is an interesting departure from conventional video game narrative building, and I, for one,  am really hoping it succeeds.  

Diverse Playable Characters 

One of the standout features of this game is its focus on a diverse ensemble cast of playable characters.  Each character possesses their own unique morality,  personality,  motivations,  and impacts on the overarching story.  Players will have the opportunity to shape each character’s destiny as they navigate the challenges of the Outer Rim. Platforms and Release Date 

While specific platform details remain limited,  it’s anticipated that Star Wars Eclipse will be available on PC,  PlayStation 5,  and Xbox Series X as a minimum.  Given the popularity of the Star Wars franchise,  it’s likely that this game will be available on multiple different platforms.  Despite its somewhat early beginnings, it seems like we can expect a release date anywhere between 2024 to 2028.  I’m not even kidding,  that’s how varied the reporting has been.
