Some teams are coming back to the game
There were some issues when it came to bringing certain teams into the mix. However, Monza, Roma and Napoli now have official licenses for the game. You will be able to play them in the Career Mode, Ultimate Team, but also the Pro Club Volta. Even if people might complain that these games tend to be very similar year after year, certain upgrades make EA FC 25 quite significant.
You can see from the FC 25 ratings that the game remains with the same rating, so it certainly targets the same audience, which is exciting in its own right. With that being said, they are trying to bring new life into the game. And having the Pro Clubs EAFC 25 experience combined with some new additions, that alone is exciting and great for the audience.

Granted, it’s not at the Football Manager level, but it certainly adds to how you play, and it most certainly enhances the process in a very creative manner.
You can set the position and there are over 50 roles to set for each player. That certainly makes the game plans more diverse. You are not limited to the traditional systems. Instead, you have more flexibility and ways to engage the opposing team. That helps add up to the experience, while still conveying a very immersive and empowering playing approach that you will enjoy.
Renewed focus on tactics
Now you can set the player focus to either roam, attack or defend on the activity map. That, combined with the player role can offer major advantages, and it will help convey a very good value and result. It offers more personality to the players. Yet it also gives you the means to expand your team’s experience. The ability to add a more personal touch is one of the better EAFC 25 new features, and it definitely helps.
That being said, they also allow you to add independent tactics. Whether you have possession of the ball or not, those tactics remain available. In the past, we had a lot of things like players abusing pace or cutting back goals. Now those are still there, but they will be overcut by new tactical styles. That’s helpful because it helps add to the process, while also creating a flexible meta.
Most of the time, the meta is very rigid in this series. You have a specific team of players to rely on and it’s not always delivering the best possible results and value. It’s one of the reasons why it makes a lot of sense to focus on learning new tactics. Doing that will help overcome adversaries. And since you can do that without worrying about downsides, that’s certainly a thing to keep in mind when it comes to this series.
The RUSH mode
Rush is a five-a-side game that comes as a VOLTA replacement. It will be added to the key modes. It’s not a standalone, which is quite interesting. The important thing we need to keep in mind here is that we have short-sided matches and new rules. There’s also a new pitch for it, which can be quite an interesting approach here.
With that being said, EA states that Rush will be less competitive. Yet despite that, it does allow you to increase the season progression. Simply put, Rush will give you an alternative way to play, but you still get to progress and that alone is indeed a very exciting premise that everyone should check out.
It can be a good fit for those players that want less competition. You still have a competitive way of challenging opponents. But it’s more casual and not as focused on ranks when compared to Ultimate Team or Pro Clubs. You can still have tons of fun with this game mode. However, it’s clearly made for those people who don’t want to play every single day. Casuals will definitely have fun with this, and there’s definitely great content to be had here.
More ways to interact with the Youth team
There were a lot of ideas running around where people were stating that playing with youth teams would be amazing. And they are trying to add that, based on what we see. There are EA Sports FC 25 new leagues and all kinds of content. But they do want to introduce younger players and make it easy for people to unlock their true potential.
Adding them into Career mode and just trying out their incredible, unique features is what sets it all apart. That being said, there’s definitely a plethora of content to be had for those who want younger players. Another thing to note is that the tournaments will provide a very big boost to players. Plus, it just breathes new life into a mode that hasn’t been that exciting for a really long time.
It also makes some of the players more usable, which has not been the case for a very long time. You still get to have more usable players and you can also play Rush. Speaking of Rush, it will bring a more arcade feel to the game, which is not a bad thing. You can still add in those stylized attacks and crazy goals. But at the same time, you can also enjoy some friendlies, if you want to. That’s where the true appeal comes in, based on the EAFC 25 new features and rumors. We’ll definitely have to wait and see on that one.
Weekly rewards have been improved
One of the issues some EAFC players had last year was the fact that weekly rewards were weak. Now they are much better, and that’s because they switch to a points system. What does that mean? This time around, you have 3 points for a win and only 1 if you have a draw. Until this point, there was a mentality that you have to win no matter the situation. Now a draw will still receive points, which is great.
It’s also possible to get relegated from the Rivals League. That does help because it removes the tryhard approach, yet it still gives you plenty of benefits. With that in mind, you can find the changes in Pro Clubs and also in the Ultimate Team mode.
Duplicate storage
Speaking of Ultimate Team, they now have duplicate storage. If you end up having a player duplicate from the various packs you opened, now it’s easier to manage. You have a place where you can place all those duplicates. After well, you had lots of rewards and different things as you played. The last thing you want or expect is a duplicate, but these will appear at times and it’s normal. However, it makes sense to check out the different implementations and see what works in your case.
It’s also important to consider another major change. Some of the players had their heads scanned, and in those cases, the visual upgrade was amazing. What happened here is that they improved how those players look, and also added more visual fidelity.
For someone interested in the game and truly wanting immersion, these upgrades are very good. You still get to enjoy that amazing sense of immersion. Yet at the same time, it still conveys a tremendous result, and you can engage in a more fun experience every step of the way.
When does EA Sports FC 25 come out?
If you want to play EA Sports FC 25, then you don’t have to wait for much longer. They will offer you the ability to play this game starting on September 27. But keep in mind there are early access packages, so you can end up playing up to 5 days earlier, or even more. For those, you need to buy the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. Obviously, these editions are not mandatory. But if you are one of the people who wants to play a bit quicker, they might be worth checking out.
Women’s soccer career mode
It’s a big one, and mainly because women’s soccer wasn’t really the focus for many FIFA/EAFC games. Now things have changed and we have a full single-player career mode for female players. You can actually create a female superstar and follow her journey. You go through 5 different leagues and show your prowess. Adding this type of content is a great win for the game. Sure, it will take a bit until we have an FC 25 cover with females on it, but only time can tell.
Apparently, the focus here is to add authenticity to female football. They truly want to bring that sense of immersion, while also making the gameplay a bit different. Based on the details, the women’s game part is mostly about youth soccer. It delves more into the developmental side of things, while still adding a unique sense of value and implementing a lot of creativity into the mix.
And yes, you can feel differences on the managerial side too. What you will see is that women’s football has lower budgets. You end up negotiating more on contracts, and people want to cut contracts quicker. That, combined with a different salary structure and transfers adds to a very compelling gameplay. It’s definitely a unique alternative to the regular EA FC campaign, but it’s still very engaging and fun!

They did a very good job at revamping some of the older features that a lot of players were complaining about.
